And connect towards a common good

Let's see beyond our differences

it's time to grow forward.

I am running for a stronger Wicomico County. One where transparency builds trust, where leadership listens before it acts, and where decisions are made with the understanding that they affect real people and real lives. A county where growth is thoughtful and long term, supporting both our deputies and every member of the community they serve.

Forward is more than a direction. It is a mindset. It is the decision to build instead of divide, to lift instead of limit, and to create a future that reflects all of us. It means honoring the work that has been done while also recognizing where we can improve. It means choosing to move ahead together with purpose, respect, and a shared commitment to something better.

Asking for growth means choosing progress over standing still. It requires patience, understanding, and the willingness to look at challenges with honesty. It takes quiet strength to believe we can do better. That leadership can evolve. That communication can be open, consistent, and rooted in truth. That opportunities can expand so more people feel seen, heard, and valued.

I want us to look for renewal and recognize that when something in our community needs attention, it touches all of us. When we take the time to listen, to reflect, and to grow, we create stronger outcomes not just for one group, but for everyone.

Leadership must strengthen the connection between law enforcement and the community. Trust is not built in a single moment. It is built over time through transparency, accountability, and communication that goes both ways. When deputies feel supported and the community feels included, we create a foundation that allows everyone to move forward together.

My goal as a Sheriff candidate goes beyond the walls of the Sheriff’s Office. It starts with understanding that everything we do is connected. Our community is a circle, not separate pieces. When one part is ignored, the impact is felt everywhere.

We cannot fix crime by arrests alone, nor by ignoring enforcement altogether. Real progress comes from holding people accountable while also asking why it is happening and how to stop it at the source.

Crime often grows where there is struggle, unmet mental health needs, poverty, and lack of opportunity. If we want lasting change, we have to address those root causes, not just the outcomes.

Public safety and prosperity go hand in hand. Protecting our community also means strengthening it. That requires recognizing the value of every single person, because every decision we make affects one another.

When families are stable, when people have support, and when opportunity is real, crime goes down.

If we ignore that, we weaken the whole community. But if we commit to both accountability and understanding, we can build something stronger, safer, and more connected for everyone.

Safe Communities. Strong Futures.
